When 2016 started, AASP saw a dramatic rise in its membership. Because of the successful attendance in the 2015 Conference in Cebu combined with the new structure of membership fees, the Association’s membership numbers are at its highest in a very long time.

The challenge is to sustain this membership numbers, and that challenge requires us to find ways to make sure that the Association is relevant to the needs of the diverse members from different parts of Asia. In this regard, the leadership of the Association is coming to terms with the changing demographic of its membership and the varied needs and expectations of its membership. We are exploring new programs and activities that would enable the Association to meet its vision and mission in more parts of Asia.
