Introduction
Mai Duc Trong (Trong) is the Deputy Director of the Institute for Research, Training and Application of Psychology (IPRTA) and Co-Founder of INTOMIND in Vietnam. Currently pursuing his PhD, Trong’s expertise lies in Team Psychological Safety and applied organizational psychology. He acts as a bridge between academic research and practical application, ensuring psychological science effectively serves the community. Trong has been a proactive figure in international relations for the Vietnam Association of Psychology (VAP), serving as a key delegate in the 2023 AASP-funded meeting “Community Research toward Sustainable Collaborations between Vietnam and Aotearoa/NZ.” His vision for the AASP role is to connect early-career researchers and foster cross-border collaborations through small group meetings and academic events.
